Our Story

Opening in 1998, Vivid Computers was established by Peter, Valerie and Dylan Larvin. Over the next 15 years the Larvin family turned Vivid Computers into a household name for its quality, value and service.

In 2001 Bobby Collier completed a week’s work experience as a high school student along side Dylan and Peter, over that week Bobby discovered a talent for problem solving and a love for technology. Since then Bobby has worked in a variety of different IT jobs, most notably he was employed by Raytheon Australia for the Australian Air Warfare Destroyer project.

In 2013 Dylan returned to the U.K and sold Vivid Computers to Bobby and his wife Sarah, thus keeping Vivid Computers a locally owned and operated family business.

Our Team

After joining the team early 2015, Ryan has thrived and virtually runs our Grange service centre by himself. He is a PC gamer who loves building systems from scratch and has a genuine love for all things technology.
Whilst computers aren’t his thing, Odé the Dalmatian is an essential team member of our family ran business. He doesn’t do much and never shows up but he sets the standard for friendliness and fun. Odé also loves long walks and going away camping.
With vast experience in computers Bobby has a common sense approach to quality and customer service. He uses this approach in everything he does which our customers benefit from.
